Patient Medications

 medications which were prescribed to patients including: the dose of the medication, the time the medication was administered or prescribed, and the medication route

MRN

Medical record number which is a unique identifier for an individual patient.

LOG_ID

LOG_ID is the identification number for a single patient encounter.

MEDICATION_ID, MEDICATION_NM

MEDICATION_ID is the CPT code for the medication and MEDICATION_NM is the the name of the medication being administered.
 

ORDERING_DATE, START_DATE, END_DATE

The ORDERING_DATE is the date and time at which the medication was ordered, the START_DATE is the date and time at which the medication was administered, and the END_DATE is the date and time at which medicine administration was stopped. 
 

ORDER_CLASS_NM, RECORD_TYPE

THE ORDER_CLASS_NM is the class for how the medication was ordered (ex: inpatient, ePrescribe, etc), and the RECORD_TYPE is when the medication was ordered, preoperatively, interoperatively, or postoperatively. 

ADMIN_SIG, DOSE_UNIT_NM

ADMIN_SIG is the dosage of medication administered DOSE_UNIT_NM is the unit of mesasurement associated with the dosage amount. 

SURGERY_DATE

SURGERY_DATE provides the date on which the patient underwent a surgical procedure.
 

MED_ROUTE_NM

This is the route by which the medication was administered.
